Never before, India had seen such public outburst for the cause of a woman. The pic shows public, blocking Raj Path and in the backdrop lies the iconic Presidential Estate atop Raisina Hills in New Delhi.
Since the fateful incident, the family of the girl remains in grip of shock, grief and anger though four of the rapists were sentenced to death by a court after a nine-month trial.
Tomorrow, it will be a year since the brutal Delhi gangrape that horrified the nation. Nirbhaya's parents are still haunted by the memory of what happened to their daughter.
